TPU 75D Filament

TPU 75D Filament

TPU 75D Filament is a very high-hardness thermoplastic polyurethane designed for applications that require strong structural support, excellent shape retention and high resistance to deformation. Compared with softer Shore A grades and TPU 64D, the 75D hardness provides a more rigid material response while retaining the toughness, abrasion resistance and impact resistance associated with TPU.

TPU 75D Filament is developed for applications that require very high rigidity, strong dimensional stability and excellent resistance to deformation. As one of the hardest grades in the Tecsonar TPU portfolio, 75D provides significantly greater structural support than Shore A TPU materials and offers a firmer response than 64D while retaining the toughness and durability associated with thermoplastic polyurethane.

Its high hardness makes it suitable for printed parts that must maintain their geometry under mechanical stress, compression or repeated use. Compared with softer TPU grades, 75D reduces unwanted flexing and deformation, making it a practical option for components that require a more rigid structure without completely giving up the impact resistance and wear resistance of TPU.

TPU 75D can be used for engineering prototypes, structural supports, mechanical housings, rigid-flexible components, rollers, guides, protective parts and other demanding functional applications. It is particularly suitable for projects where standard flexible TPU is too soft and where stronger shape retention is required.

For B2B customers, Tecsonar supports bulk orders, private labeling, customized packaging and project-based material requirements, making TPU 75D Filament a suitable choice for manufacturers, distributors and 3D printing service providers seeking a high-hardness TPU solution for functional and engineering applications.

Choose the Right TPU Hardness

Tecsonar offers a wide range of TPU hardness options for different application requirements. Softer grades provide greater flexibility and a more rubber-like feel, while harder grades offer increased structural support, dimensional stability and resistance to deformation.

70A
Very Soft
High flexibility with a soft, rubber-like feel and excellent deformation.
75A
Soft & Flexible
Soft and elastic with improved shape retention and slightly greater support than 70A.
85A
Flexible & Resilient
A balanced flexible grade with strong resilience and moderate structural support.
90A
Balanced Flexibility
Increased firmness and shape retention while maintaining reliable flexibility.
95A
Versatile
A widely used TPU grade for general-purpose flexible parts.
98A
Firm
Higher firmness while retaining TPU toughness and resilience.
64D
High Rigidity
High structural support with reduced deformation for demanding functional parts.
CURRENT
75D
Extra Rigid
Maximum rigidity in the current TPU range for highly demanding structural applications.

TPU 75D Positioning

TPU 75D is positioned at the highest-rigidity end of the Tecsonar TPU hardness range. It provides greater stiffness, stronger dimensional stability and lower deformation than 64D while retaining TPU toughness, abrasion resistance and impact resistance. It is designed for applications where high structural support is required but the durability characteristics of TPU remain desirable.

TPU 75D Filament is suitable for engineering and functional parts that require very high rigidity, strong shape retention and reduced deformation. Typical applications include structural supports, mechanical housings, guide components, rollers, rigid-flexible connectors, protective parts and customized industrial components.

Its high hardness also makes it suitable for parts exposed to compression, friction, repeated impact and mechanical loading, including wear-resistant guides, equipment supports, durable covers, bumpers and functional fixtures.

For prototyping and low-volume production, TPU 75D provides an option for projects that require substantially more rigidity than standard flexible TPU while still benefiting from TPU toughness, abrasion resistance and impact resistance.
