TPU Matte 64D Filament is a high-hardness thermoplastic polyurethane designed for applications that require strong structural support, improved dimensional stability and reduced deformation together with a smooth low-gloss surface finish. Compared with Shore A Matte TPU grades, 64D provides significantly greater rigidity while retaining the toughness and durability associated with TPU.

TPU Matte 64D Positioning

TPU Matte 64D is positioned at the high-rigidity end of the Tecsonar Matte TPU portfolio. Compared with Shore A grades, it provides substantially greater resistance to deformation, stronger structural support and improved dimensional stability while retaining TPU toughness and durability. Its smooth low-gloss surface also makes it suitable for applications where both mechanical performance and a refined matte appearance are important.

TPU Matte 64D Filament is suitable for functional and engineering parts that require high rigidity, strong shape retention and reduced deformation together with a clean matte appearance. Typical applications include structural brackets, protective housings, mechanical covers, rigid-flexible components, rollers and equipment accessories.

Its higher hardness makes it suitable for components exposed to compression, friction, repeated impact or mechanical loading, including guide parts, support elements, wear-resistant components and durable fixtures. The matte surface also helps visible parts maintain a more refined and understated appearance.

For prototyping and low-volume production, TPU Matte 64D can be used where conventional flexible TPU does not provide enough structural support but the toughness and durability of TPU are still preferred.
