TPU 90A Filament
TPU 90A Filament is designed to provide a balanced combination of flexibility, resilience and structural support. Compared with softer grades such as 70A, 75A and 85A, TPU 90A offers improved firmness and shape retention while maintaining the elasticity and toughness required for repeated bending, compression and everyday functional use.

Product Description
TPU 90A Filament is developed for applications that require a stronger balance between flexibility and structural support. Compared with softer grades such as 70A, 75A and 85A, the 90A hardness offers increased firmness, better shape retention and improved dimensional stability while still maintaining the resilience and elasticity expected from TPU materials.
The material performs well in applications involving repeated bending, compression, impact and everyday handling. Its moderate firmness helps printed parts recover their shape more consistently and reduces excessive deformation, making TPU 90A suitable for functional components that need flexibility without feeling overly soft.
With stable extrusion, good layer adhesion and consistent filament diameter, TPU 90A can be used for functional prototypes, protective parts, flexible housings, connectors, seals, equipment accessories and customized products. It is particularly useful when 85A TPU does not provide enough structural support, but 95A may be firmer than required.
For B2B customers, Tecsonar supports bulk orders, private labeling, customized packaging and color development according to project requirements, making TPU 90A Filament a practical option for manufacturers, distributors, 3D printing service providers and brands seeking a medium-soft TPU with reliable functional performance.
Choose the Right TPU Hardness
Tecsonar offers a wide range of TPU hardness options for different application requirements. Softer grades provide greater flexibility and a more rubber-like feel, while harder grades offer increased structural support, dimensional stability and resistance to deformation.
TPU 90A Positioning
TPU 90A is positioned between the softer 85A grade and the more general-purpose 95A grade in the Tecsonar TPU portfolio. It provides improved firmness, shape retention and structural support compared with softer TPU materials while preserving enough flexibility for repeated bending, compression and impact-resistant applications.

Applications
TPU 90A Filament is suitable for functional parts that need flexibility together with improved shape retention and moderate structural support. Typical applications include protective housings, flexible brackets, clips, cable components, seals, gaskets, grips and equipment accessories.
Its balanced hardness also makes it suitable for parts that experience repeated bending, compression or light impact, such as flexible connectors, protective inserts, wearable components, sports accessories and vibration-damping elements.
For prototyping and small-batch production, TPU 90A can be used for customized functional parts where a softer grade may deform too easily but a more rigid TPU may reduce the required flexibility. This makes it a useful intermediate option for product development, mechanical accessories and general-purpose flexible components.
